Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can share your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data including contacts with your Samsung device.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account if available
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync completes, switch to the Samsung device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Set the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer and follow one of these steps:
    • Use the Internet browser on the PC to import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Samsung phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
  3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email
  4. Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the Samsung phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for contact transfer on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer2peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, choose the desired transfer method, such as “Generate QR Code” or “Receive” and follow the on-screen steps to compete the transfer
