S6 Android update - Ruined a perfectly good phone

Hi. Am I the only one who is having major snags with the recent OS upgrade for Samsung Galaxy S6? The phone has slowed down significantly (to the point of frustration). The battery has suddenly become too hot to operate the camera and I need to shut the camera app down. Numerous apps that I use for work no longer operate despite deleting them and then reloading. It's extremely disappointing as the phone was great until they messed around with it. Now even Apple is starting to look like a good option!

Before doing that , i think backup the Android data is very necessary
