How-to: Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2: Block/Unblock Calls and Messages; Manage Call Forwarding and the Call Log

Block Incoming Calls:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Settings” > “Block numbers”
4. Follow one of the steps below:
   
   • To block a new phone number: enter it and ensure the match criteria is set to “default”
   • To block unknown callers: enable “block unknown callers”
   • To block a contact from the phone book or call log entry: go to “Contacts” or “Recents” and select the desired contact/phone number you want to block

Unblock Incoming Calls:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Settings” > “Block numbers”
4. Tap the “-“ symbol next to the phone number/contact you want to unblock

Block Messages:

1. Open “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Block numbers”
3. Tap “Message block”
4. Set the slider “ON”
5. Press “OK”

Block Messages from a Phone Number:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Block messages” > “Block numbers”
4. Enter the phone number you want to block or tap “+”
5. Select a contact from “Contacts” or “Inbox”
6. Press “Back”

Unblock Messages:

1. Open “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Settings” > “Block numbers
4. Tap the “-“ symbol associated with the phone number you want to unblock

Reset the Call Log:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Go to “Recents”
3. Tap “Menu” > “Delete”
4. Select the call log entry you want to remove
5. Tap “All” > “Delete”

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Settings” > “More settings”
4. Tap “Call forwarding”
5. Select “Always forward” and enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
6. Tap “Turn On”

Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Settings” > “More settings”
4. Access “Call forwarding”
5. Select to “Forward when unreachable”, “Forward when unanswered” or “Forward when busy”
6. Enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding or select a contact form the phonebook
7. Tap “Turn On”

Disable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Settings” > “More settings”
4. Tap “Call forwarding”
5. Select the forwarding option you want to disable and tap “Turn Off”
