Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer and connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access Info
  3. Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
  4. Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
  5. Click Apply to start the sync
  6. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Click Settings > Export vCard
  7. Once the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps, such as My Contacts Backup, which is an iOS third-party app that can share contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once done, send the vCard to your own email address
  4. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts

Via Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a p2p connection to share contacts without needing computer access.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts
  6. Tap Send
  7. Select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
