Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and access “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log into the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contact you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard is done, perform one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with access to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts in a vCard file via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. After the file is done, send it to your own email address as an attachment
  4. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Install the app on the Android phone via the Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
