Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the phone and computer
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the computer
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” folder
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “Sound and vibration
  3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “Back

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts
  2. Select the desired contact and go to “Details
  3. Tap “Edit” > “more” > “Ringtone
  4. Enable “Allow storage permissions” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK

Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:

  1. Launch “Email
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
  3. Go to “Manage accounts
  4. Select your email address and go to “Notification settings
  5. Tap “Email notifications” and check or clear the “Notifications” and “Vibrate” tick boxes

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
  3. Access “Emergency alert settings
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts
  5. Turn “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts
