Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and copy the desired audio files from a PC
- Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folder(s)
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound and vibration”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Back”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap the desired contact
- Go to “Details”
- Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
- Enable “Allow storage permissions” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:
- Launch “Email”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Manage accounts” and select your email address
- Access “Notification settings” > “Email notifications”
- Check or clear the boxes associated with “Notifications” and “Vibrate”
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Launch “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Emergency alert settings”
- Tap “Emergency alerts”
- Enable or disable “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
