Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “Back” to confirm

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM or internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Access “Details”
  4. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
  5. Enable “Allow storage permissions” and select the desired ringtone
  6. Tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Settings:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “menu” > “Settings”
  3. Access “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address and tap “Notification settings”
  5. Tap “Email notifications”
  6. Optionally, clear or check the “Notifications” and “Vibrate” tick boxes

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings’
  3. Access “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts”
  5. Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
