Reset Network Settings:

NOTE: By resetting network settings, all your saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections will be deleted. Furthermore, network selection mode, background sync settings, and data restrictive settings will be restored to factory values.

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “General management
  3. Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings
  4. In case the device is protected by a lock screen, enter your PIN/password
  5. Tap “Reset settings

Factory Reset

WARNING! By factory resetting your device, all your personal data located on the phone will be deleted. This includes media files, ringtones, contacts, apps, downloads etc. In addition, all settings will be restored to factory values. Data located on the SD and SIM cards won’t be affected.

Hard Reset via Settings:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Access “Sound and Accounts
  3. Tap “Backup and restore
  4. Optionally, turn “Restore” and “Back up my data” ON or OFF
  5. Go to “Settings” > “General management
  6. Tap “Reset” > “Factory data reset
  7. Tap “Reset device
  8. If your device is protected by a lock screen, enter your password/PIN to proceed
  9. Tap “Continue” > “Delete all

Reset via Android Recovery:

NOTE: If your device prevents you from resetting it using the method above, alternatively you can reset the device from Android Recovery.

  1. Make sure the phone is powered off
  2. Press and hold “Home” “Power” and “Volume Up” at the same time
  3. At the Android screen release the keys and wait for access to Recovery
  4. Once in Recovery, press “Volume down” repeatedly to navigate the menu and highlight “Wipe data/factory reset
  5. Press “Power” to select the option
  6. Then highlight “Yes – delete all user data” and press “Power
  7. After the process is done, highlight “Reboot system now” and press “Power” one last time
