Reset Network Settings:
NOTE: By resetting network settings, your saved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections will be deleted. Additionally, data restrictive settings, network selection mode, and background sync settings will be restored to factory defaults.
- Open “Settings” and access “General Management”
- Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings”
- If your device is protected by a lock screen, enter your PIN/password to proceed
- Tap “Reset settings”
Factory Reset
WARNING! When you factory reset your device, all your personal data stored on the phone storage will be lost, including ringtones and other media files, downloaded content, applications etc. Additionally, all settings will be restored to factory values, however data located on the SIM and SD cards won’t be affected.

Factory Reset via Settings:
- Launch “Settings” and go to “Cloud and accounts”
- Tap “Backup and restore”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Back up my data” and “Restore”
- Return to “Settings” and go to “General management”
- Tap “Reset” > “Factory data reset”
- Tap “Reset” again and in case your device is protected by a lock screen, enter your password/PIN
- Tap “Continue” > “Delete all”
Factory Reset via Recovery:
NOTE: If your phone crashes, freezes, or otherwise prevents you from resetting it via Settings, alternatively you can try resetting the phone from Android Recovery.
- Turn the phone off if necessary
- Press and hold “Power” “Volume Up” and the “Home”/”Bixby” button at the same time
- At the Android screen, release the keys and wait for access to Android Recovery
- Once in Recovery, press “Volume down” repeatedly to navigate the menu
- Highlight “Wipe data/factory reset”
- Press “Power” to select the highlighted option
- Highlight “Yes – delete all user data” and press “Power”
- After the phone resets, ensure “Reboot system now” is highlighted
- Press “Power” one last time to confirm
