Reset Network Settings:
NOTE: When you reset network settings, your saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections will be deleted. Furthermore, data restrictive settings, network selection mode, and background sync settings will be restored to factory values.
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “General Management”
- Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings”
- If your phone is protected by a lock screen, enter your password/PIN to proceed
- Tap “Reset settings”
Factory Reset
WARNING! When you factory reset the device, all your personal data stored on the device will be deleted, including ringtones, media files, contacts, apps, downloaded content etc. Additionally, all settings will be restored to factory values but data located on the SD and SIM cards won’t be affected.

Factory Reset via Settings:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Cloud and accounts”
- Tap “Backup and restore”
- Optionally, turn “Back up my data” and “Restore” On or Off
- Go back to “Settings” and access “General management”
- Tap “Reset” > “Factory data reset”
- Tap “Reset” again and if your device is protected by a lock screen, enter your PIN/password then tap “Continue” to proceed
- Tap “Delete all”
Factory Reset via Recovery:
NOTE: If your phone freezes, crashes, or otherwise prevents you from resetting it using the method above, alternatively you can try resetting the device from Android Recovery.
- Turn the phone Off if needed
- Then press and hold “Power” “Volume Up” and the “Home”/”Bixby” keys at the same time
- At the Android screen, release the buttons and wait for the Android Recovery menu
- Once in Recovery, press “Volume down” repeatedly to navigate the menu and highlight “Wipe data/factory reset”
- Press “Power” to select the highlighted option
- Next, highlight “Yes – delete all user data”
- Press “Power”
- Once the device resets, highlight “Reboot system now” if necessary and press “Power” one last time
