Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Navigate to the desired audio files
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
  6. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “Back”

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap the desired contact and go to “Details”
  3. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
  4. Enable “Allow storage permissions” if necessary
  5. Select the ringtone you want to set and tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Settings:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Manage accounts” and select your email address
  4. Tap “Notification settings” > “Email notifications”
  5. Clear or tick the check boxes associated with “Notifications” and “Vibrate”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings” > “Emergency alert settings”
  3. Tap “Emergency alerts” and enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
