Transfer Audio Files Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the phone.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and enable “Sync Contacts With”
- Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
- Click “Apply” to start the sync
- After the process is done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts From an iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click “Settings” > “Export vCard” and follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: You can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android device, launch the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the app on the Android phone via the Play Store
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap “Send” and select the desired contacts
- Tap “Send” again and select a transfer method on one of the devices
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
