Recover data from broken screen of a Galaxy S8

I have tried a bunch of ways to get to my pictures retrieved. The closest I've gotten is I've projecting my phone onto my TV, but my phone is locked as a pattern lock. Tried my wireless mouse to unlock and it didn't allow it to be used on the phone.

Then I tried a couple of recovery systems and both did not have the S8 yet in their systems.

Is there any other way I can project my phone screen onto my computer?????? If I could do that, I could quickly save and be done.

Trying to avoid a $75 payment to a cell phone repair place.
