Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Locate the audio files on the computer
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “Sound and vibrate
  3. Tap “Ringtone
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Back

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts
  2. Select the desired contact and access “Details
  3. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone
  4. If necessary, enable “Allow storage permissions
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK

Change Incoming Email Settings:

  1. Launch “Email” and tap “Menu
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Access “Manage Accounts
  4. Select your email address and tap “notification settings
  5. Go to “Email notifications
  6. Tick or clear the check box associated with “Notifications” and “vibrate

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages
  2. Tap “Menu
  3. Access “Settings
  4. Tap “emergency alert settings” > “Emergency alerts
  5. Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts
