Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files on the computer
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound and vibrate”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Back”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and access “Details”
- Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
- If necessary, enable “Allow storage permissions”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change Incoming Email Settings:
- Launch “Email” and tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings”
- Access “Manage Accounts”
- Select your email address and tap “notification settings”
- Go to “Email notifications”
- Tick or clear the check box associated with “Notifications” and “vibrate”
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Launch “Messages”
- Tap “Menu”
- Access “Settings”
- Tap “emergency alert settings” > “Emergency alerts”
- Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
