Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Details” > “Edit” > “More
  4. Tap “Ringtone
  5. Enable “Allow storage permissions” if needed
  6. Select the ringtone you want to assign
  7. Tap “OK

Change Incoming Email Settings:

  1. Launch “Email
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
  3. Go to “Manage accounts
  4. Select your email address and tap “notification settings” > “Email notifications
  5. Clear or tick the ‘Notifications” and “Vibrate” check boxes

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages
  2. Tap “Menu
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Emergency alert settings
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts
  5. Turn “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts” ON or OFF
