Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “notifications” directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound and vibration”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Back”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Details” > “Edit” > “More”
- Tap “Ringtone” and enable “Allow storage permissions” if necessary
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
Change Incoming Email Settings:
- Open “Email”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Manage accounts”
- Select your email address
- Tap “Notification settings” > “Email notifications”
- Tick or clear the “Notifications” and “Vibrate” check boxes
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Access “Emergency alert settings”
- Tap “Emergency alerts”
- Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
