Back Up App Data:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Cloud and account”
- Tap “Backup & Restore”
- Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data to your account
- Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when signing in with the backup account or when reinstalling apps
Back Up Contacts to an Account:
- Open “Settings” and access “Cloud and account”
- Tap “Accounts”
- Select the desired backup account
- Enable “Contacts” and tap “menu” > “Sync Now”
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap “Menu”
- Tap “Settings” and switch to “All contacts” if necessary
- Tap “import/Export” > “Export to SD”
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Back Up Media Files to Phone Storage:
- Launch “My Files”
- Go to “Internal storage”
- Tap “Menu” > “Share”
- Select the desired contacts and tap “Share” again
- Select the desired backup location
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on the phone
- Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
