A530 Date display (it won't)

Does anyone else have this problem? The date and time does not display on the main screen when the phone is getting service. It gets overwritten by 'Verizon Wireless'. When the phone is out of range, the date and time displays.

I talked to Samsung, and they said it is Verizon's problem, and that it is a problem with the PRL. I live outside of Philly. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, to give me ammo in dealing with Verizon.

Verizon has been terrible to deal with on this issue, sending me to stores where the tech guys don't know anything about this problem, replacing my phone for no reason, and blowing me off through email.

Their customer service really sucks, which is a shame, cause I really liked them up until now. Its left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't be renenwing with them.
