Does anyone know how I can access AIM on my E715? On Nokia phones AIM is built in so it's easy to access, but on the E715 you've got to log on through text messaging. Is there any way that I can add AIM onto my phone, or log on, via WAP or can I only access AIM through SMS messaging?

If anyone has an answer or suggestions I'd greatly appreciate them

unfortunately, you have to go thru sms. i haven't heard of any other way. it's unlikely you'll see AIM added to the phone by private parties unless samsung decides to come out with. would be nice to have it like that though.

I saw someone using AIM on an E715 that kinda looked like it was programmed into their phone. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to ask them about it... But yeah thanks for your reply

it's unlikely that it was programmed into their phone. but if that's the case, i'd like to know how too. the reason why i said that it's unlikely that it was programmed into their is the source-code for the firmware is not open-source. that means, samsung or whoever makes it, is not releasing the instructions of how to write codes for their firmware. kinda like microsoft, but not as greedy. so for the phone to be programmed for AIM, samsung would have had done it themselves .

    Holy Moly,
Over here Orange charges us $2(approx) per month unlimited GPRS. Yeah, but you can't use that for your PC. Only on the handset.
For the PC thingy, they charge a whole $10. Unlimited per Month.
That's why we can go on the wapsites, as it is cheap over here.
What you lookin' here for ehhh?

it's actually called T-Zones. You've got to get that T-zones thing from T-Mobile & then u'll be able to get onto AIM on there. I had it for a while, but now I cancelled it since I bought my new Sidekick II!!!

Not really, it's been available for the E715 since the phone first came out. Either free by using SMS or $4.99 a month using T-Zones...
