I just signed up with Cingular and got a Samsung X427 that I'm very happy with. However, does anyone know if it's possible to program a "pause" into a phonebook entry? For example, I'd like to be able to program the phone to dial a number like 212-555-5500 [pause] 123, which would eliminate the need to manually key in the 123 extension number. I used to have a Samsung A400 which had this capability, but I'm unable to figure this out on the X427. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

yeah, it has a pause, simply go to the phonebook entry, or when creating a new one... hold down the star (*) key for about two seconds and a P should appear
Cell phones unlocking is like opening a door. It's not about what's behind the door. It's the fact that there is someone else's lock on one of your doors.

x426 Unlocking, Software, Firmware, Mods, Codes, and Assembly are all available at my site, along with many other resources for Samsung phones.

Thank you! That's exactly what I needed.

I know there's something else I wanted to ask about this phone but it escapes me at the moment...
