Hi, I'm a n00b on this forum.

I have a Samsung x426, and I'm pretty happy with it, but I've noticed one thing that's almost a deal-breaker with this phone:

Whenever I start it up (usually in the morning) and press the Phonebook softkey, I get a wait screen [a hourglass that rotates in space] for what seems an eternity, but is actually only 30-60 seconds long.

I assume my Phonebook is loading or something, but that behaviour seems pretty buggy to me. Has anyone else had that problem?

I wonder if it has something to do with my memory usage on the phone. I've max'd out the number of games you can download (in my case, ten), but I don't have nearly 500 names in my Phonebook...more like 100. I do store them to my phone rather than the SIM card, and I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.

I don't want to whine about the phone, because for a mid-level phone it's alright, but to have to wait when you have to call somebody right away seems like phone behaviour from the 1980s or something. Anyway...does anyone have any insight into this?
