I read a post earlier that described a way to get free ringtones and send them to your phone. Verizon has changed its website and I have .mid ringtones but it won't let me upload them on the website and send them to my phone. Any ideas?

You can do it two ways.
    vzwpix.com
Or, you can E-mail it to yourself as an attachment, to <yournumber>@vzwpix.com.
    Ex: [email protected]

Use vtext.com and send yourself a text message -- with the midi file as an attachment -- to yourself at [email protected] where 1234567890 = your cell phone number. Upon receipt of the message, save the attached midi file under "my sounds".

Boy, I sure feel stupid for asking this question, but I can't get this dang thing to work. I can't send any emails, whether with or without attachments, to <number>@vzwpix.com (I did sign up). However, I don't have the getPix part of my Verizon account, since I am really the only one I know who has a camera phone. Do I need this, or any other fancy addon to my plan to get this to work?
