Just purchased DataPilot to manage the phonebook on my Samsung A650. I was able to download the entries to my PC. but that's all. Uploading is a no-go: DataPilot throws a descriptive "communication error occurred", then corrupts the phonebook. Ringtone/image transfers don't work either.

Updated the DataPilot USB driver (1.0.1.0) and software (3.7.0). Telus claims there are no software/firmware upgrades for the A650. The cable seems to be ok. Any ideas??? I'm avoiding a toll$ call to Datapilot/Susteen in California ...

I called SusTeen and they informed me that DataPilot does not support Canadian Samsung phones. The next day they added this disclaimer to their website. Now trying to get an RMA from the reseller ............

    Canadian software version now available

Susteen just released (for download only) DataPilot v 3.1.0C for Canadian users. Unfortunately (in my case) only phonebook transfers are supported. Susteen tech support told me that Samsung must release their internal phone specs to software developers otherwise other features like ringtones and images cannot be supported. Could also be the cheesy Telus crap that's loaded onto their phones pre-sale.

Anyhow, if you need to exchange the U.S. version of DataPilot for the Canadian one, contact Susteen tech support, they should be able to help.
