samsung x-427m data cable and software needed any help

i can find the data cable cheap, but no one is selling the software, i saw there is data pilot sotware, but wondering if can find some thing cheaper, all i wanna do is backup address books, add ring tones and graphics, can this be done with out the software thanks

you can find the software on samsungs website go to download select at&t for the service and go to x426 phone select software download. pretty sure it will work,and its free! you may have too play around in the settings to get the right comm port with mine it worked on comm port 5
