e315 external display and camera

Hey, I have a Samsung e315. I was wondering how to change the text color of the external display, if it is possible. And I also want to know how to turn off the annoying shutter sound of the camera when you take pictures. Thanx!!!

The only way to turn off the shutter sound is by modding the firmware. I hear if you turn the keypad volume all the way down you can hardly hear the shutter.

I don't think you can change the text color of the external display. I've been searching for loopholes on and I haven't found any. And actually even when I turn the voume down, it still makes a pretty loud shutter sound, especially if it's quiet around you.

Even when the phone is on silent mode, there's still the loud sound. >_<" I'd rather not tamper with any "firmware" for my phone..

When you are saying external display, are you referring to the screen with the time on it or the service light?

^ Yes... Um.. what other external dispay is there? The service light isn't even an "external display." I really do want to change the picture on it. :/

you asked about what other display.. There are two things on the front of my 315. One is the Time and Date. I haven't found a way to change the text color but you can change the background color. Also you can change the color of the service light to seven different choices. Both options are available through phone settings-display- external and or service light... Does your clock remain on at all times. I had an e105 before and the clock was always on but on my new E315 it only stays on for 5 seconds, is driving me crazy...... Thanks Di Ann

you cant change the text color in the external lcd screen! also you cant turn off the shutter sound for this phone but with a select few phones you can
