Just in case no one knows, the d415 phone doesn't support MP3s. But you do have the alternative of using a WAV converted to MMF. Or MP3 to WAV to MMF.

I may not have to send it you after all. Then again maybe I shouldn't try AIM because I tend to not be able to connect to people on it. But I will try it if I have to. Anyways, the WAV to MMF programs can be found at Yamaha's website for free: http://smaf-yamaha.com/
The program is Wave to SMAF Converter (WSC-MA2-SMAF) on the site, or more specifically, WSC-MA2-SMAF-210-u (Go to Tools, then click Download or SMAF Tool Downloads). It's recommended in this topic that you should do that if there are voices in the source file: http://cellphoneforums.net/showthread.php?t=64487
You can use PSMPlay. If you do, be aware of some downgraded quality and to follow the method given here by vnyce23: http://cellphoneforums.net/t126460.html
I still recommend to experiment, though.
You may be able to use WavePad to do stuff to the audio, convert too. However, I do not know if that does anything to the final MMF file. Thanks to third_i's post in this topic: http://cellphoneforums.net/t163326.html . I now know about WavePad.
Read my little guide there for help too. You might have a lot of reading to do.
Go ahead and post if you need help and stuff.
I forgot to mention you can download MidRadio Player here for free: http://smaf-yamaha.com/tools/scas_sample.html
Click on the MidRadio Player picture to eventually download. You have to agree and stuff.Last edited by ahooligan; 05-18-2005 at 10:16 PM. Reason: Forgot to add info about MidRadio and other stuff
