samsung d500 in Toronto

Hello.
I'm thinking about purchasing a Samsung D500, but I'm not sure how reception will be in Toronto/Markham area. I know it's not on 850, so the reception quality won't be as great ... but how is it??

And is the flash on the camera that effective?

No doubt D500 is a very attractive phone and have a lot of good features and it seems that a lot of people is using it in North America. However, you probably are right that you can only use it on 1900 since this phone is more for Asia and Europe but not N. America. Besides reception, you have to consider after sales support. You probably won't be able to get any support from Samsung in N. America nor your service provider.

^yup. i've only seen the d500 for sale from private retailers in vancouver.... our major service providers - fido, rogers, bell, telus - do not offer this phone, i wish they did though.

I live in NYC and just got one. It works great. Plus, any support you need, you can get it from great sites like this one!
The quality of the sound etc on mine works fine.
