    take it apart!

on the inside of the front flip part of the phone, below the screen there are two small circles. that is plastic that is held on by a small amount of adhesive easy to remove; underneath that there are two screws that hold the front faceplate on, there are two clips on either side of the front that are also holding the faceplate on, it takes a little pressure to undo them but they will come off. thats how you get the front apart, hope it helps.

There is a 5th screw under the plastic cap on the top left back side of the phone, it takes a little bit of efforet to get it off but that will get you that last screw.

Phones are really sensitive to water. Also, know this. If it's under warrantee, and you try to take it in, there is a small circular sticker thing under the battery (on the antenna side of the phone) -- and this sticker has a chemical in it that will turn to red if water touches it. That will void the warrantee. I found this ou the hard way....

I ended up upgrading my phone with one I bought on ebay.

For others that drop a phone in water... if it won't work at all, try changing out the battery (maybe use a friends). My phone was not working at all, but when I put my spare battery on, it worked again (but the display screen wasn't showing anything).. at least I could make calls at that point.
