it is very easy.i just called t mobile customer service and told them that i need to leave the country for a short while and they sent me a email with unlocking instruction along with it.
no other software or hardware required.but the unlocking code is different on each individual case and it is provided from t mobile.
i can not reveal my unlocking code

press #0111*{unlock code from tmobile},# and send key
and it is so easy
for those members who are using tmobile phones..just give t mobile a call and they will help u to unlock the phones with free of charge..
