Ok I purchased a usb cable on ebay for my Verizon Samsung SCH-A610. It came with some drivers for windows that i tried briefly and had no luck with. I tried some other programs as well and had no luck. So i hooked it up to my mac iBook (OSX 10.4). The ibook recognized it immediately as a modem, and I was able to use it to dial up to the internet, at a blistering 14.4k. unbelievable slow, but it worked. I have not however, found anything that will allow me to upload/download anything onto my phone, no ringers, phonebook, etc. I downloaded a program called bitpim, which did not support my phone. I chose a similiar phone, and attempted importing everything from my phone. It brought over my text messages, and about 10 different phonebook entries, none of them intact, but I found a few phone #s of mine scattered thoughout the random entries. This is what aggrivates me the most, because I now know that it is possible to import this stuff, I just need a suitable driver.
Does anyone know a program that will work with my mac, and do anything at all, phonebook, ringers, etc? I would prefer everything, but would settle for anything at this point.

Also, does anyone know how to access verizon's "express network" for dial-up, which i hear is as fast as pcs vision. Because 14.4k is ridiculously slow.
