Hello,
I have the same exact phone. Here's what you have to do:
Menu
Browser
Profile Settings
Select the first profile and Rename it T-Zones
For Home URL, enter: http://wap.myvoicestream.com
Bearer=GPRS only
Proxy=Enable
Under GPRS Settings:
Proxy IP = 216.155.165.50
Proxy port = 8080
APN = wap.voicestream.com
Login ID and Password can remain blank
You do not have to change the GSM settings.
Once you have saved everything, go back to the browser menu and go to Current Profile, select T-Zones.
You will also need to fix the settings so that you can send and receive picture and video messages. Try sending a picture to yourself, as well as a text. If it works, then you're fine. If it does not work, then reply and I'll let you know the settings.

illmatic13, I purchased my phone on ebay. I got very lucky. The person I bought it from on eBay lives only 15 minutes away from me, so I was able to meet with her and I was very lucky considering the types of problems one can run into when purchasing electronics on ebay.

Re: New Samsung e730 Unlocked phone. HELP!
I stumbled upon this site when doing a google search for my phone. Just wondering if anybody can help me out with my situation. I recently bought a Samsung E878 (I'm pretty sure it's from China) off of ebay, unlocked. It works perfectly with Rogers up here in Canada (Rogers is a GSM network like T-Mobile), but I'm having difficulty with my proxy settings so that I can send and receive picture/video messages. Does anybody know what I need to change so that I can enable that and/or so that my phone can access the network so that picture messaging will be possible? Tech support from Rogers gave me a bunch of MMS Settings if that helps... thanks!
