a670, possible memory issue

Hey all, great forums. I've had a problem with my a670 from verizon for a while now. I had taken it for a swim a while ago, and had to buy a new battery; dried out the phone, took it completely apart and it worked like new for over a month... Until I decided to try and install my first program thru get it now, some email program. After that my phone just keeps restarting itself in an endless loop right before it goes into main screen with menu and such... I'm 95% sure that it may be a memory issue, because I remember something about it running out of space a little before trying to install this program. Is there anyway having not enough memory will keep it from booting properly? And if so, is there a way to reset the memory to free up some space, hopefully without getting the data cable? Thanks a bunch. Oh and if I get it fixed, I have a nokia tmobile 6101 up for grabs, I think thats the model number.
