I just got the T809 from t mobile. Customer service said that they is a way that you can like minimize the space a mp3 takes and put them on the phone. After that you can play/ make custom ring tones even though the phone its self does not allow you too. Just have to figure out how. Does anybody know how to do this????

Go to the folder of your mp3's and click tools, folder options, view, and then uncheck (hide extensions for unknown files), and the you should see filename.mp3 instead of filename. All you have to do now is just rename the .mp3 to .3gp. Then put it on your phone and set it as your ring.

Oh and there are some software that minimize an mp3 from like 5 mb to about 900 kb which you can hold a lot more. I personally use something called switch. But im sure there are many other. Just try googling it.
