I have a voice disability that has lowered the volume of my vocal output, so a headset with high gain microphone capability is important to me. Being over 50 means listening volume is also important (too many years of rock and roll!).

I have been using a over the ear headset with my non-Blue Tooth Samsung phone; its extended microphone, as well as other qualities, seems to help with outgoing volume and clarity.

Can anyone recommend a Bluetooth headset for my Samsung 900 (shipped and on its way to me), one that will deliver good voice volume-- microphone volume is particularly important since my voice's volume is low. Pointing me away from a particularly low-volume headset would also be helpful so I can avoid problems.

Sharing your experience is much appreciated!

I've been using the Plantronics 645 with my A900 and its been great. I'm not sure of your limitations so I'd suggest you look somewhere that you can try before you buy.

Thanks!, I appreciate your response. I ended up ordering the Plantronics Voyager 510 after researching it on the web. I found user reviews that reflected favorably on good clarity and volume in both directions, as well as a message from someone who'd used it with an A900 successfully-- Amazon.com has it cheap w/free shipping so I took the plunge.

The 645 looks nice and was also a prime contender, but it was more than I wanted to spend; I use a wired earset for planned, outgoing calls, but wanted a flexible and quicker way to answer the phone in the car.
