camera help

Help My daughter just got the Samsung A900 and the camera don't seem quit right.
When you click on to use the camera the view is a picture of yourself upside down. Isn't it suppose to show what your taking a picture of on the screen? Any turtorials on how to use this camera?

Another less-documented feature -- this is supposed to be good for something but I can't figure out what...Anyway, to turn it off, you should push the volume bar on the left of the top part of the clamshell. If you haven't figured it all out by now, hpe this helps!
