Anybody here have a D807 and tried using a 2gig MSD card? I want to use my phone as a replacement for my Rio S500 MP3 player which can use 1gig sd cards. But according to Samsung if I use a card greater than 512mb it will "slow" my phone down. Anybody tried it (at least 1gb cards or greater)and what did it do to their phone?

Correct me if I'm wrong... but aren't you only supposed to use 1Gb and lower cards on the D807?

Samsungs website says you can use 1gb cards but they recommend 512mb cards. Just wondering if anybody has tried the 1gb or 2gb cards.

Yeah, I believe that we had an issue here on the forums a while back and the problem was that the OP could not access the card and we deemed that it was the card being too large. Take in mind, the phone has an OS and chances are, it has a filesize limitation (MicroSD cards are in FAT32 format) just like Windows XP has the 137Gb drive limit before support is activated with SP2.

From what I saw on Samsung's website they didn't mention anything about not being able to access the card but that it slows the phone down.
This is specific to the D807 but they also have a link to this.
