SGH C417.. transfering?

Hey.. my brother picked this phone up used, great condition.

Few things, im pretty sure now that bluetooth is only with headsets, and not with other phones, so is data cable only way to transfer files to his phone??

If so, what programs do i need, aand if anyone knows where i can get the data cable. One last thing, how can i install downloaded games on to it?? (Once i get the files on the phone.. lol)
