Question about the Sync

I just purchased a Samsung Sync for an mp3 player and a video player. I purchased a 1 gig micro sd card and put a movie on the micro card and poped it in to my phone. I go to play the file and it says unsupported format. I looked up what formats where supported and it said somthing and Mpeg4. Anyone know if i can get an mpeg4 converter for this. I am sure some other people have done the same thing. Appreciate your help in advance

yeah im pretty sure theres a lot of them. what is the files format right now? mp4?

yeah it is

NO!!!!whatever u do convert the movie to 3GP format, my videos are in that format and work fine.
