Hello everyone,

Here's a quick version of my problem;

My aunt living in Puerto Rico, sent me her i730 as a gift, when I tried to get it to activate, it failed. 45 mins later, I was told that there was a problem with the phone by a tech, not thinking to tell him the phone came from Puerto Rico. After a few more days of troubleshooting, we came to the conclusion that the Verizon accounts/phones from Puerto Rico aren't the same as the US, and the ESN couldn't be activated here.

Anyone have any idea how my aunt or I could exchange this phone for one compatible for US activation?
