SCH-A950 + New software = :(

I just got a replacement SCH-A950 because my old one was damaged and the new ZD08 software simply will not enable ringtones or music, no matter what I try. I've gone through just about every suggestion I could find while searching around, but am still having major issues. In short, the phone will not recognize any music/ringtone that I transfer onto it with the memory card or USB cable, no matter what format.

So does anyone have any experience with the A950's new software in regard to getting music or ringtones on it? Or maybe I'm just REALLY doing something wrong here?

Any assistance would be highly appreciated.
