Samsung g600 Won't detect MicroSDHC card

I bought a samsung g600 today, and I bought a Sandisk 2GB Micro SDHC memory card to go with it. It fits in perfectly but I can't store more than about 10 songs on my phone without the user menu saying there isn't enough space. I checked the info about the memory card on the phone, and under capacity it said 0 KB. I am sure this is the right card but I don't know what to do now.

The g600 can support up to a 4gb card, but it has to be a standard Micro SD card, not the MicroSDHC.

I would go exchange the memory card for a standard Micro SD card.
