T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant customer may have gotten a little bit excited over the Android 2.2 Froyo update that was announced by Samsung, that may have caused T-Mobile customers to turn frustrated just as quickly when Samsung decided to pull the Android 2.2. Froyo update from the Samsung Vibrant.
Samsung announced that the update had been pulled but they are working fast in fixing the problem. Supposedly, Samsung is working on the Kies software that is responsible for installing updates to their devices. You can read Samsung's comment below.
“We are continuing to investigate issues that some users have reported while completing the upgrade to Android 2.2. In the interim, we are taking the extra precaution of temporarily suspending the upgrade as a download from Kies. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that clients contact 1-800-751-4078 or [email protected] if they have any further questions.”
