News: Samsung Forte LTE handset with Android 2.2

A new LTE enabled handset is in the works by Samsung called the Forte. The Forte is said to head to MetroPCS. The Samsung Forte has a horizontal sliding QWERTY keyboard and runs on Android 2.2. Other features of the Forte include: 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5MP camera, TouchWiz UI and microSD card slot.

This handset resembles the R910 and is hopefully not the same phone. MetroPCS did have a poster stating that they were working on not one, but two LTE devices, so the Forte may not be the R910.
