Samsung Intercept LCD won't display after touch screen replacement

I cracked my screen when I dropped the phone, but everything still worked. I ordered a replacement digitizer and replaced the broken one on the phone. I get power-on voice, lighting of the key board, message notification tones, but the LCD will not display. I removed the new and put the old one back and it is doing the same thing. I rechecked all the flop connections and they are good. Is there something I am missing?
