    I need to do a hard reset on my Samsung Galaxy S2 as it is glitching badly. I have the reset code. But firstly I have to backup my personal data files onto Samsung Kies. I get started doing this and it fails - connection error. I tried a brand new cable but still same error. I tried trouble shooting and it reckoned bad cable -but the cable is brand new!



    Can anyone help me please.

    Did you try uninstalling apps on the phone first?
