Samsung Impression Touch Screen Not Working

The touch screen on my samsung impression has not been working. What do I do to fix it? I used a code on keyboard and typed it to reset phone, and now got a screen that says tap the center of the target. Repeat as the target moves. When I try to tap target it won't do anything. How do I fix this problem with touchscreen?

I'd contact your provider and see if maybe you can get a warranty replacement, if it does it once, there's no telling if it'll stop... You can try doing a soft reset by pulling the battery out with the phone on, that might help at least temporarily but I'd still call your provider.
