Anyone having this problem? It only seems to happen intermittently. The screen will dim, but not turn off after the set interval (in my case, 30 seconds). It worked fine before upgrading to Jelly Bean (4.1).

Re: Galaxy SIII: after update to Jelly Bean, screen doesn't turn off
I saw this also John, it seemed to happen to me quite often, espcially when I was charging it or set it on a desk (not set to be on while charging). I played with it, set it back to 15, then to 30 again and that seemed to do the trick. I also had to turn the phone off and back on after that. I havent seen it happen to me in a few days, so I hope its fixed, but who knows.

I think they should allow the general public to beta test these updates since users seem to find a lot of problems. That way they don't release the update to everyone and find out it has a lot of bugs.
