Sending a Text Message (SMS) To a Group:
- Tap the "Messaging" icon located on the home screen
- Press the "Compose" icon
- Tap "Contacts"
- Press the "Groups" tab. Note: If you wish to learn how to create groups, please follow this link!
- Select the group that you wish to send the message to
- Tap individual contacts, or press "Select all"
- Tap "Done"
- Type your message in the "Enter message" field. To attach a file, press the "Attach" icon depicted as a paperclip
- When done editing your message, press the "Send" icon
Taking a Picture or Recording a Video and Sending it in an MMS:
- While on the home screen, tap the "Camera" icon. (If it's missing, tap the "Apps" icon and locate the "Camera" app within the app drawer)
- To capture a photo tap the "Shutter" button depicted as a camera
- To capture a video:
- Tap the "Switch" button to enable the camcorder
- Press the "Settings" icon > "Recording mode" and select "Limit for MMS"
- Tap the "Record" icon to start the recording process. Tap it again when you wish to end the recording
- Tap the image or video thumbnail located at the bottom-left corner of the viewfinder
- Tap the "Share" icon
- If necessary, tap "See all" and tap "Messaging"
- Enter the desired recipient's phone number, or tap the "Contacts" icon and select the contact that you wish to send your message to, then press "Done"
- Enter the desired message in the appropriate field
- Tap "Send" when ready
Sending an Already Existing Picture or Video in an MMS:
- Tap the "Messaging" icon located on the home screen
- Press the "Compose" icon
- Type-in the recipient's phone number in the "To" field. Alternatively, if the recipient is already saved as a contact on your device, tap the "Contacts" icon, select the recipient and press "Done"
- Tap the "Enter message" field and enter the desired message
- Touch the "Attach" icon depicted as a paperclip
- Select "Images" or "Video"
- Tap the desired folder / album
- Browse through your files and checkmark the one that you wish to send
- Press "Send" when ready
Saving an Attachment Received via MMS:
- Tap the "Messaging" app located on the home screen
- Open the conversation thread containing the MMS
- Tap and hold the file that you wish to save
- Select "Save attachment"
- Tap the file name
- Press "Save"
Note: By default and assuming that you have an SD card installed, the file will be saved in the "Download" folder on the SD card. To find it:
- Tap the "Apps" icon located on the home screen
- Select "My Files"
- Tap "All files" > "sdcard0" and select the "Download" folder
