Sending a Group Text Message (SMS):

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Select "Groups" from the top-down menu
  3. Select the group that you wish to send your SMS to
  4. Tap "More" then tap "Send Message"
  5. Type in the text you wish to send
  6. Tap "Send"

Sending a New Picture or a Video in a Multimedia Message (MMS):

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
  2. Select "Messaging"
  3. Tap "Create Message"
  4. Select "Message"
  5. If you wish, type in the text for your MMS
  6. Perform one of the following steps:

    • To Capture an Image:

      1. Tap "Image"
      2. Tap "Take photo"
      3. Frame the subject and press the "Camera" key
      4. Select "Add"

    • To Capture a Video:

      1. Tap "Video"
      2. Press "Record video"
      3. Tap the "Camera" key to begin recording, and press the same key again to stop the recording process
      4. Tap "Add"

  7. Tap "Send to"
  8. Browse through and select the desired recipient(s)
  9. Tap "Send" when ready

Sending a Saved Picture or Video in a Multimedia Message (MMS):

  1. Press the "Menu" button on your device while on the home screen
  2. Select "Messaging"
  3. Tap "Create Message"
  4. Press "Message"
  5. If desired, type in the message
  6. Select either "Image" or "Video"
  7. Browse through your files and select the one that you wish to attach to your message
  8. Tap "Send to" and select the desired recipient(s)
  9. Press "Send" when ready

Saving Pictures Received in Multimedia Messages (MMS):

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Tap "Messaging"
  3. Navigate to and select the MMS that contains the picture(s) you wish to save
  4. Press "More"
  5. Scroll to and press "Save attachment"
  6. Select the desired option: "Phone" or "Memory card"
  7. Select the attachments that you wish to save then tap "Save"

Deleting a SMS or MMS:

  1. From the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Tap "Messaging"
  3. Select "Inbox"
  4. Navigate to and select the SMS / MMS message that you wish to delete
  5. Tap "Delete" then press "Yes" to confirm

Adding or Changing the SMS Service Center Number:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" key on your device
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Scroll to and tap "Applications settings"
  4. Press "Messaging"
  5. Select "Text message"
  6. Press "Text message center"
  7. Select either "Center 2", "Center 3" or "Center 4"
  8. If necessary, tap the "Arrows" icon located next to the service center number in order to edit the information
